History in the Making

You may write this down in history: What happened when Small Black and Minority, Women Owned Businesses contributing to the 44% of the U.S. economic activity, tottered on the verge of bankruptcy and closure amid Covid-19 and bitter twisted lies? They bowed their heads and lowered their eyes, and then peeked to see if anyone was wise…enough to know of the secret gold mines of their own backyards that led to the wealth building of Black and Minority Women beyond historical regards. What a wondrously clear daybreak!

About Luvina Beckley

With a bachelor's in business and a master's in health services administration, Luvina Beckley has spent over two and a half decades at the helm of M.H.M & Associates (MHM) in Ontario, California. A grant proposal development-and-review specialist, Luvina Beckley has helped clients secure tens of millions of dollars in funding using her patent-pending e3p3 grant development model.

Throughout her career, much of Ms. Beckley's work has focused on promoting environmental sustainability, economic prosperity, and equity in underserved communities and marginalized populations. This includes chairing the National Resource Development Council for Local Governments (NRDC-LG), an MHM-created group comprising industry and nonprofit leaders working to build sustainable communities. Some of the group's partners include Loma Linda University’s Center for Community Resilience and the University of California’s Center for Economic Development.

Beyond her work as CEO of MHM and chair of NRDC-LG, Luvina Beckley maintains involvement in the greater business community as a member of the National Association for Female Executives. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and cycling.
